Chicken Meatballs

Chicken Meatballs

They love you unconditionally. Feed them accordingly.

Made of 100% NZ raised chicken, these delectable single-protein meatballs are minced, shaped, and then gently freeze-dried to make a hearty meal mixer for dogs.

Freeze-drying keeps all the benefits of fresh meat intact, without the need for fridge storage. That means Chicken Meatballs retain natural glucosamine, omega-6, and amino acids – and you can feed chicken in a handy, low-mess way.

Boost your dog’s existing diet with quality lean protein, and ensure every meal is happy, healthy, and probably a little drooly.

Feeding Guide

Chicken Meatballs are best used as a meal mixer, adding flavour, protein and variety to your dog’s regular meals. Therefore, they should make up around 20% of your dog's daily calories, with the remaining 80% coming from a complete main diet. To calculate a tailored feeding allowance for your dog, use our feeding calculator. A broad guide is:

Small dog (4–10kg): 4–8 meatballs/day
Medium dog (11–25kg): 8–14 meatballs/day
Large dog (26–45kg): 16–22 meatballs/day

Always ensure fresh water is available. Meatballs are not for human consumption (no matter how good they look).

How to Feed

Add warm (not hot) water and allow meatballs to soften for about 10 minutes before feeding. For smaller dogs, break into pieces before soaking.

As with any new food, start slow. Offer a small portion for a few days and keep an eye on how your dog responds. If all looks good, you can gradually increase to 20%.

Storage

Like rice, charcoal, and Reese Witherspoon’s perfect dewy skin, freeze-dried meat absorbs moisture from the air. After opening it’s important to properly reseal the bag or store in a sealed container in a cool, dark, dry place. Keep out of reach of young children and pets. For best results fed within 30 days of opening.
