Feeding Guide: Treats such as Pork Snouts should form no more than 10% of their daily calories with the remaining 90% from a complete, balanced diet.
Portion control is important with an energy-dense treat like this, so use our allowance guide to remove the guesswork and check what’s appropriate for your dog. Adjust portions to maintain ideal body condition.
Please note: Pork Snouts are not intended for human consumption.
How to feed: Feed dry or soften in water. Dogs should always have fresh water available and be supervised while feeding.
As with any new food, introduce slowly. Give a small Pork Snout for three days, and if stools and behaviour are normal, increase over 4-7 days to your dog’s recommended allowance.
Storage: Freeze-drying makes Pork Snouts safe and shelf-stable at room temperature. Freeze-dried meat absorbs moisture from the air – after opening, store Pork Snouts in a sealed container or bag in a cool, dry place. Use rehydrated portions within 24 hours.
